In our cosy café we serve homemade food — locally sourced breakfasts, lunches, light bites and our much-loved homemade cakes — using the finest local ingredients wherever we can, so everything is fresh and full of flavour.
Our farm shop is stocked with local produce and gifts: fresh milk, free-range eggs, artisan bread, quality meats, biscuits and bakes, local honey and a hand-picked selection of local wines and beers. Many of the ingredients in the café are on our shelves, so you can take a little taste of Hartington home.
With beautiful countryside walks right on our doorstep, we're the ideal stop for walkers and cyclists looking for great food and a warm welcome.

Three dales, one unforgettable walk
A classic circular walk from the farm shop through three of the White Peak's loveliest dales — Beresford, Wolfscote and Biggin — following the River Dove past limestone crags, then back over the tops for tea and cake.

We have two dog-friendly tables inside the café and plenty of outdoor seating — perfect after a walk in the dales. The dog tables are popular, so we recommend reserving one in advance.
